If you've got a blackberry from MTN, Zain or Glo or maybe you got it yourself but want to also use it to access the internet withut having to go ahead ans aldo buy a data/internet plan from your GSM Network, there's a way you can do this such that you would be browsing on the go without prepaying for it. So you would be browsing with manual configurations on a pay as you go basis.Here is how you can do that:
Go to Options --> Advanced Options --> TCP and enter your APN information for your GSM Service.
For MTN it is web.gprs.mtnnigeria.net
For Zain it is wap.ng.zain.com
For Glo it is glogwapSave the settings and turn up your mobile browser to be able to browse on your blackberry using the manual settings you just set up above. I would suggest you install Opera mini browser which you can get from mini.opera.com and use automatic settings to browse the internet using those new settings.
You would find out that browsing with a blackberry, especially using opera mini is a much faster and exciting experience than with an ordinary mobile phone.
