Ordinarily I wouldn't advise you using a Paypal account in Nigeria since Nigeria is excluded from Paypal's list and I would rather advise you use Liberty reserve or Alertpay for your online transactions apart from credit cards which are now readily available in Nigeria. However, it's quite possible to activate and operate a Paypal in Nigeria as what you will need is using a US ip address.
The thing is that to use a Paypal account in a country, what you need to do is use an ip of a country that is acceptable to Paypal like US, UK, Canada or Australia and so on.
To be able to use a Paypal account in Nigeria. here is that you need:

- An US ip annonymizer
- A US or foreign address.
- A US issued credit card

How to open and the verify your Paypal account

1. Get the ip annonymizer for free by Google for it. Although it is not really important to use an ip annonymizer since Paypal can later discover this but a lot of people are suggesting that it can help.

2. Go to Graphcard and get a US address by registering as a member and paying the required fee. Getting a US address costs about 4. You will also need to register with VTN as it works hand in hand with Graphcard and helps you load funds to your Graphcard account. Also get a credit card from Graphcard

3. Go to Paypal and register with your name and the USA address given to you by Graphcard. You will be able to see it from within your Graphcard account

4. Add your virtual credit card to Paypal account to verify your account. Now you can start using Paypal to send and receive funds online, create payment and donation buttons all from within your new paypal account.
