Having a domain name is the first step to owning a unique website address. A domain name tells the world what your website is about and gives the first impression. A lot of domain names are being registered daily on the internet. A domain name is unique and gives a brief insight into what your web presence entails. Due to the rush in grabbing domain names, a lot of premium domain names have already been registered and this makes people find it more difficult to register their first choice names.
In Nigeria, the web industry is equally growing and to have a website, the person must be able to register a domain name. There is already the .ng domain names which can be registered online with the Nigerian agencies but if you want to register a .com,.net,.org or other top level domains names, you can do that online by going to a domain registrar of your choice, just do a google search for domain registration.

It is easy, just go to www.netfirms.com and search for the domain you want.
- Then select the domain name if available and continue
- Proceed to payment
- Click on No thanks to the option asking you to buy a hosting account
- Enter your payment details on the checkout page including the Mastercard details
- Click on complete your order

It has to be a dollar based Mastercard if it's from GTB and then you use the 16 digit that starts with a 4.
Then for the CVV code you use the 3 digit at the back of the card
