If you are looking for a more convenient way to top up your airtime or buy recharge cards, maybe it is time you start thinking about how to buy them online. Buying things online in Nigeria is the new wave and it has made the internet more useful to people who were once so used to buying stuff at open markets. There has been a lot of websites set up by Nigerian online merchants that allow GSM users to either buy recharge cars pins or load airtime on their phones and some of these websites include:

There are actually more in number(about 100) than I listed above but what I would want to focus on is buying them online using VTN(Virtual Terminal Networks).
VTN is a website that offers a whole lot of web solutions and once you are a members, you could get more tools that will help satisfy you web experience. Some of the things you could do as a member of VTN is send and receive money to any member, load funds to Graphcard to help create virtual credit cards, web to sms, corporate and personal email service as well as buying recharge cards online or send to friends.

Buying airtime from VTN
All you need to do to be able to buy recharge from VTN is the ff;
1. First Register as a member if you are not yet.
2. Log in and make sure you have funds in your account
3. Locate the GSM or Airtime Icon and select the link
4. Fill in the required details and submit
5. The recharge card you ordered will be immediately displayed on the page as well as sent to your email. You may load it immediately on your phone from that page or your email box
6. You can also send recharge pins to your friends or relatives and all you should then do on the order page is to include their email or phone number.

How to load funds to your VTN account
To be able to pay for stuff on Virtual Terminal Networks, you need to have enough funds in your account which is in denominated naira.
You should log into your account and Add funds. You can add funds in either of the two ways:
- By direct deposit (Bank PHB and GTBank)
- By use of special scratch cards

They sell recharge pins but I don't think they sell in wholesale to retailers. You could get better deals from major dealers if you are looking to resell
