Pictures: How to make money online?

Do you know you can make money online in Nigeria by selling digital pictures? Well you can if your pictures are admirable and wanted by someone elsei n cyberspace. There are already a lot of websites that earn a tonne of revenue from selling digital pictures on the internet. It doesn't have to be pictures of yourself. It can be pictures of other people, places and things. it can even be pictures or weddings or traditional cermonies in Nigeria or around Africa. You can decide to increase the price to a premium if you want to sell it just to one person or you can reduce the price so low and sell it to everybody.
There is a good example of a website that makes money online by selling pictures - I am talking about Corbis(www.corbis.com)

Corbis is a very popular website that people who want to view pictures and photographers, website designers, photo experts and digital illustrators, normally visit to get pictures that will best suit their needs. On Corbis, some pictures are free while others are watermarked, meaning that you can only use them if you purchase the rights to do so.
If you are a photographer or just love taking nice photos, you can still sell them online to websites like these for a good price but really it doesn't beat selling the pictures directly on your own website. So, I have been thinking about this for sometime and would really want to set up a website where I can allow people to view and possibly buy pictures of Nigeria and West Africa. Maybe I will do this as a second project and will expect it to earn profitable income, but even if it doesn't, at least people will be flocking to the website and traffic counts for money.

What sites like Corbis does it that it allows users to create accounts for themselves and gives them access to millions of pictures in their gallery while also allowing them to buy online with their credit cards and have immediate access to download it.

Currently, there doesn't seem to be any website in Nigeria that has got photo galleries of her wonderful places, so if you are looking for an easy and low competitive way to make money online in Nigeria, try selling pictures online.
