For Nigerian shoppers that love to buy things from US retail companies, one of the major issues has to do with getting the items delivered to Nigeria. Since many of the US retail companies don't offer direct shipping to Nigeria, the best way to shop as an international buyer on US websites is by setting up a package forwarding service. The package forwarding service will allow you to setup a US address and temporary warehouse that you can use to receive items you've purchased from US stores and be able to forward them to Nigeria using an international courier service like DHL or Fedex.

Most US websites now have started accepting payments from Nigeria and they accept cards such as Visa Naira, Naira Mastercard as well as Paypal Nigeria payments. The only thing is that most of them still don't offer direct shipping to Nigeria and even if they did, the buyer will still have to pay an additional fee for the international shipping costs to Nigeria.

Once the Nigerian buyer has purchased what he wants from sites like Amazon, he will

Here are 3 package forwarding companies that can help deliver your goods to Nigeria:
================

I highly recommend this one because I've used it on several occasions and they've not disappointed. I've also heard people say that they are a bit expensive but I have to say that they are very reliable and their service has been effective and satisfying.

How their US to Nigeria shipping service works
===========
When you sign up with them, they would provide you with US address that you can use as your shipping address together with your name when shopping on US websites. When you then buy the thing you want on websites like Amazon or eBay, the item will be shipped to your US address and you'd get an email from them when they have received it. You will even be able to track the item till it gets to your US address from your shopping account with Amazon or eBay.

Some US shopping websites block buyers from Nigeria while some don't. Amazon for instance accepts buyers from Nigeria but will mostly ship to a US address while eBay blocks IP addresses and Paypal payments from Nigeria but you can overcome that by using a US IP address and US Paypal account.

To shop on Amazon. you can use a USD or Naira Visa/Mastercard to buy anything you want and get it delivered to you in Nigeria using DHL or Fedex all within 5 working days after it has been shipped from your US address.
