Jumia apologizes for bad service and extends Black Friday to Sunday.

For those Nigerians who love shopping on Black Friday in order to take advantage of huge discounts on purchases, Jumia Nigeria is offering an extension of their Black Friday shopping and this time it's going to end on Sunday by 11.59 PM.

According to an email sent to customers, it reads as follows;

"Dear Customer,

We always said, if there ever came a day we could not meet our promise to be the fastest and most reliable online shopping service, we would be the first to let you know.
Unfortunately, today, this was the case.

Please give us the chance to make up for the inconvenience by extending Black Friday to Sunday 11.59 PM.

Today was a big day for us. Demand for our services reached an unprecedented level, and we made history. We saw interest in our services like near before and we are proud that you believed in our ability to deliver.

But at the end of the day, we know that your experience fell short of what we had promised you. We did not live up to your expectations.

We had great difficulty keeping up with the huge number of requests. The load on out services led to drop outs, significantly impacting the shopping experience on Jumia. We could like to say sorry to all those who struggled to access the site.

Today, we have learnt some valuable lessons and we will work even twice as hard to provide you with the customer experience you deserve.

We are the lucky ones because we have you as a customer.

Signed: Nicholas Martin "

I guess we can keep shopping on Jumia without worrying too much that Black Friday deals are over yet.
