Assuming someone fraudulently took away my Paypal money, how do I reverse the payment?

You should only do it if the seller didn't really send you anything as some buyers are known to claim this even when the seller did send something.

If the paypal seller fradulently took your money without providing your item or shipping the goods, you can go to

- Item dispute and press continue
- Select "I have not received anything from the seller"
- Select your category and write the details of the transaction to get PayPal to return your money then press continue

This will now open a dispute with the Seller who if he can't prove that he shipped something t you may warrant a reversal by Paypal for your funds.
