My Nokia 5330 phone contacts are not displaying on the contact list?

I have a lot of contacts on my phone but the problem is that they are not displaying. I have tried moving them to my sim and it displays but when I move it back to my phone memory, it doesn't display but it doesn't mean it's not there. What do I do?
