I have an LG HDTV and a PDV decoder. I just want to be able to watch tv at least up to 6 hrs even after NEPA light goes off. What grade of inverter can I use for that?

I think the first thing you need to find out is the power requirement of the decoder. You know we have the old decoder, the pvr decoder and the dstv explora. Just check the back of the decoder to see the power requirement before knowing the type of inverter you need and how many batteries. There are many online tools that allow you to calculate your battery power requirements
