If only a person's monthly salary was at least N200,000, then one may be able to save N1m in a year.

How to be a Nigerian millionaire

By Onelove in Nigeria - October 01, 2009 at 01:02:11. How many Nigerian millionaires to we have in Nigeria currently? Well, probably not up to 5% of the population(moderate assumption)meaning that if we have about 150 million people living in Nigeria, not up to 8 million are millionaires going by our per capita income which puts about 99% of Nigerians below the poverty line. What does it then take to be a Nigerian millionaire? It's just N1,000,000 which equates to about $6666 at an exchange rate of N150 to a dollar. Is it really that hard to get N1,000,000? Well it is considering the factors people face living in Nigeria from getting a job and keeping it, dealing with political instability and skyrocketing inflation, persistent fuel price hikes and scarcity, multiple taxation and inefficient power supply - all these Nigerian factors are part of what is making the poor poorer and the rich richer. How then can one become a millionaire in Nigeria considering all these obstacles? Well, I am suggesting these 3 logical steps; - Learn how to make money from your business - Grow your money by a considerable factor - Incorporate your business I wouldn't suggest getting a lucrative job and just keeping it since it wouldn't give you time to maximize your business
