I have for long wanted to get a credit card for myself even if it costs me $100. At least I could use my name and address without having to get a US addressed credit card by the help of foreign contacts or agents. Now I got this card from the bank and I wanted to use it to purchase some books from Yahoo stores and it was declined. Why. The money is intact and i have not used the card before. Why can't i use it online and have goods shipped for me from abroad? It is disappointing, really..

If you want to make online shopping and the Nigerian card doesn't work, why not use a prepaid VCC with a us address. That should work. I use both.
