ASUU STRIKE: When will it end?

This is not the first time the Academic Staff Union of Universities ASUU has been holding nationwide strikes to enforce the Federal govt to honour their agreement or to bend to their demands, but this is by far the longest period in which such and any other kind of strike has been held in Nigeria against the Federal govt.
In times like this, students normally wish it had been a military govt which could just order the lecturers back to the universities, however, in a democratic civilian setting, it is not so.
The ASUU strike has been ongoing for more than 3 months now and students are really frustrated. The main demand by ASSU is for an increase in salaries which had been the main factor for past strikes.
ASUU and the Minister of Education should do something urgently to end this side which is not helping either side
