MTN begins share and sell

MTN has become more innovative by the day compared to other telecom companies in Nigeria. Their Share ‘n Sell service is reaaly astonishing. It allows one to send money from an mtn Prepaid airtime account, to another prepaid MTN subscribers account, via SMS.
To do this, simply follow this procedures;
+ Text "Transfer 080xxxxxxxx Amount (e.g. Transfer 080 3xxx xxxx 2000) to 777 in order to transfer 2000 naira to 0803xxxxxxx (MTN only)
+ MTN will send you a text message back for you to confirm your request. Please confirm by texting back YES to 777.

So using MTN Share ‘n Sell, Nigerians can now transfer airtime in variable amountsfrom at least N50 to a maximum of N6000 per transfer.

You will be able to transfer a N50,000 airtime in total, each day, if you so wish, to other accounts. So, you can even decide to become an airtime vendor in this way!

Note:
Transfers are only allowed in full Naira amount and not Kobo (e.g. N71 can be transferred, but not N71.99). If your MTN account does not have enough airtime to cover the amount you have requested to transfer, the transaction will not be done.

the default pin is 0000 and so to modify your pin you need to select a new pin, let's say 1111 and then send it to 777 in the format:
0000 1111 1111 as a text messages to 777.

You can also change your default pin by dialing 601*0000*newpin*newpin#

Your default share n sell pin is 0000. So you can change it to your own pin by sending a text message to 777 in the format:
default_PIN New_PIN New_PIN eg 0000 1234 1234
