Now With MTN Share n Sell, you can now send money from your Prepaid airtime account, to another prepaid MTN subscribers account, via SMS. That way, you can keep your family and friends topped up, and connected! And the transfer does not cost you anything extra.
Simply text the following command to the code 777: Transfer 080xxxxxxxx Amount (e.g. Transfer 08034xxxxxx 2000 to transfer N2000 to 08034xxxxxx)
Once you send this command, MTN will send you a text message back for you to confirm your request. Please confirm by texting back YES to 777.
With MTN Share ‘n Sell, you can transfer airtime in variable amounts, with a minimum transfer limit of N50 and a maximum transfer limit of N6000 per transfer transaction. You will be able to transfer a N50,000 airtime in total, each day, if you so wish, to other accounts. So, you can even decide to become an airtime vendor in this way!
Transfers are only allowed in full Naira amount and not Kobo (e.g. N71 can be transferred, but not N71.99). If your MTN account does not have enough airtime to cover the amount you have requested to transfer, the transaction will not be done.
All text messages sent to the Share & Sell shortcode 777 are free of charge – only the requested airtime amount is deducted from the sender’s account balance.
It's exciting. With this latest feat, MTN IS becoming ever so endearing to the hearts of customers, now more than ever.

i think this mtn share n sell now uses a new format for sending and recieving credit. you need to have a pin now before sending credit
