I thought i should talk a bit about this ugly trend that's catching all our Universities like wildfire. Why should a student redo another examinaton after passing JAMB in flying colours? University authorities mostly in Unilag have turned the school into a business center. Post UME exams are not essential as they make UME irelevant to us. I think the Education minister should make a decisive statement as to whether to scrap JAMB or scrap post UME exams as having the two operating only amounts to nonsense.

JAMB initially resisted the idea of a post U.M.E. perhaps they felt threatened that they cpud be losing their autonomy and revenue, but when they later recieved a greater number of candidates the following year, the board started playing a different tune. i don't think that a post U.M.E. by Universities is just. It hould be stopped or better, J.A.M.B. SHOULD BE SCRAPPED.
