I've been away from the country for a long time (10 years) and have actually lost touch with events down there. What is really happening in Nigeria. Are the roads still bad? Are the girls still pretty? I am almost forgotten how to speak say Nigerian pidgin

the situation in this country is getting worse especially with Lagos. Spending Christmas in Lagos would not be nice. Most of the major roads have been devasted, dug up holes exist everywhere on the road as some construction company has been trying to lay gas pipes under the ground. It's like, the whole of Lagos state is in Armageddon. Yaba market is a no go area as you would only get frustrated.

I think good fortunes too are happening for investors in the stock market. A lot of middlie income earners have reaped bountifully in the many share offers and other capital benefits from the oil sector too. Nigeria is turning around.
