I just got an internet account with Starcomms LG phone at Bode Thomas, Surulere and it was meant for my Laptop. I was told to go to the technician's room for setting up the internet on my computer. This was one of my busy days, on Monday and when i went there, there was a lot of people and i can't just imagine wasting a lot of my time there. To my surprise, there was only a single technician and about 30 customers who were sitting as in a queue and after spending up to one hour without reaching my turn, i just had to go. Thankfully. i had a friend who also uses starcomms to browse and i asked him for the internet settings which he gave me. i was initially using Multilinks before switching over to Starcomms so i knew how to configure the settings. To configure your computer whether Laptop or desktop for Starcomms' internet using a CDMA phone, all you need to know are these basic things:
All you need to do is
1. Switch on your laptop/computer
2. insert and install the CD that came along with your starcomms phone
3. Then plug your phone to your laptop through the USB port.
4. Go to control panel->Printers and other hardware->Phone and Modem options->Modem
5. Highlight the LGE CDMA Modem and click on properties.
6. Go to Modem (Select port speed as 115200).
7. Advanced, extra initialization commands type "AT+CRM=1;$LGPKT=3" without the quotes and Exit

Re: Starcomms internet settings (configuration) for CDMA phone
If you have purchased the cdma box, you still need to subcribe by going to their office and paying for internet subscription in order to browse. The cdma box is just a phone line, internet service is a value added service.
