The Obasanjo administration has followed the path of his predecessors in investing a lot of our revenue into the Power Holding company of Nigeria (PHCN/NEPA) with an amount running into billions of dollars to revive this national power sector but all these came to nothing as the current govt has begun an investigation as to where this ridiculous amount of money went to. Despite the promises that there would be adequate power b4 the end of his tenure, still, it appears that NEPA has totally collapsed. There's hardly any constant power supply and everbody is wondering where the money went to. This year is worse than last year and last worse than the previuos in terms of power supply across the nation. I think the power sector should be totally privatised just like telecommunications.
