All hell seems to be let loose in the city of Jos where vioelnce erupted yesterday as a result of percieved injustice and rigging by the ruling PDP over Local govt election results which has not yet been officially released. The opposition party - ANPP feels that the rumoured results were flawed and that the Christian dominated PDP was involved in this, and as a result of this lack of faith in the electoral system, the two sides seem to have taken laws in their hands in a series of violence which had resulted in the deaht of more than 50 persons. This is a rally politically tensed state and it used to be peaceful

I just heard on cnn that about 300 dead bodies were found in a Nigerian mosque and yet news reports in Nigeria are saying that only about 20 had been found dead. This is more serious than we thought.
