Thank God for the internet whihc has becomce more helpful to us now more than ever. The stock market has been booming for some time now in Nigeria but has slowed down due to the effects of global recession. Maybe perhaps this is the best time to buy a lot of shares in the Nigerian stock market especially for those living in developed economies like the US or UK. It would do you good to invest your hard currency in the Nigerian stock market and buy those share which were once overpriced. The dollar has appreciated very highly against the naira and the stock prices have also depreciated. Buying no for the not too distant future could be a swell investment. Nigerians acan invest in the stock market wherever they are by visiting any of the stockbroking houses who have their presence on the internet and filing the applications forms. In cae you don' have any cscs account yet, just buy share with them and they would give you an account wiht which you can also be monitoring your account online from cscsnigerialtd.com. In addition to buying the shares in the secondary market, you should also apply for an online access account to the cscs through your same stockbrokers and this will enable you to log in remotely. I think the subscription fee for online access is about N2500 per year for now.
