We must all have heard about the Computer village located at Ikeja, Lagos in Nigeria and it is rightly a very popular market. Over a period of time, this market has attracted millions of people from Nigeria and even some west African states because it is like the only computer village where you can find anything in the IT world be it from New to used computers and computer parts, accessories, software programs(original and cracked), inverters, and other latest technologies. The world is going I.T. and it appears that the time is right for Computer market to be so centrally located in the capital of Lagos. It is like the only well known Computer market where you can find everything about computers, from the least things like bluetooth devices to HP laptops. It is also the place where you can find the cheapest gadgets and latest mobile phones just arriving Nigeria. Let it be released in the US and within a week you'll find it at the computer village. I wonder why the marketers stopped advertising their products with prices on the Guardian newspapers on Wednesdays at they used to do.

you can make good and bad bargains at the place. There is no warranty for most of the products you have there. i remember buying a nokia 6230 there but after a day it stopped working and had to repair it myself after trying to get it replaced unsuccessfully. There are fraudsters in the place

Yes the computer village has come to stay, it is now left for the customers to use their initative to get the right stuff.For instance some products have means by which you can check the originality,eg nokia (#*0000#)
