There has been a lot of friction generated between access bank registrars(Wema registrars) and those who applied for the last access bank public offer of 2007 through intercontinental bank branches nationwide. The accounts of the recievers appears not to have been reconciled as applicants have been tod that their names have not yet been listed or alloted or even recorded with any shares applied for. it's as if they never applied for any access bank shares. i did mine through intercontinental bank when the offer was on and my own compalint was not the issue of my share certificate delay which has become traditional, but if my name have been listed in the books of the registrars and how many shares were alloted to me, but wema registrars told me that my name was nowhere to be found and that i should go back to intercontinental bank, where i bought the shares and ask them for the control number, or schedule. This is too time consuming and unnecessary. i hope SEC should correct this unnecessary delay
