About closing my cscs accounts with CSCS Nigeria Ltd

Is it possible for someone to close his cscs account with cscsnigerialtd? I have more than one account with them but the first one has been dormant with y former stockbroker, now i have a new broker and all my shares are in this new account. Can i be allowed to close the former since it's dormant.

i think its possible. A notice was sent to all users of cscs online that they should apply through their stockbrokers to close multiple accounts that they had. You may have multiple investor account numbers when you move from one stockbroker to another, but not more than one cscs account number as it may not be to your own benefit. Look at what i equally got in my mail;
"From: www.cscsnigerialtd.comDear Subscriber, Please note that an Individual Investor is expected to have only a single Clearing House Number (CHN) across all Stockbroking firms. The Investor's acount number changes but the CHN remains the same. Investors with different CHN should apply through their Stockbroking firm(s) for change of CHN. Thank you. Admin. www.cscsnigerialtd.com "

CHN means your clearing house number and it is the same thing as your CSCS account number, i.e. the number given to you that starts with a "C"
