Why is Starcomms Internet so Slow?

I have a Starcomms IzAP modem I use for browsing the internet. My brother also has his own Starcomms Genie but none of ours is working at all. You can connect but when your try to go to a site like google.com, you can almost sleep on that browser window without Google opening.
What is wrong with their internet service? This is nothing but pure service fraud. A prepaid service for that matter. Starcomms gullibly accepts my payments anytime I go to their office to renew my plan but instead of telling me that their internet service is dead, they still collect my NGN15950 without providing the service. Is this what we call broadband or high speed internet? It is even slower than 1x CDMA service. How long can someone stay on the browser before opening a website? This is fraud. It happened last month and again this month and I have already paid for the month without any service.
To the best of my knowledge, Starcomms internet service is dead and I don't think I will renew my plan for next month,.
The worst thing is that there is no apology for these 3 months from Starcomms and no statement telling customers about their poor service. I think ISPs in Nigeria need to at least inform and apologise to customers when they have poor services. With Starcomms internet, it is like there is no service at all and I'm getting tired of them already and thinking about Visafone unlimited internet
