My problem with Zenith bank mastercard

I have been trying to get Zenith bank's mastercard since but they keep telling me at the branch that they don't have cards now and that news ones will sone be issued. How long do i have to wait to get a credit card from the bank. It seems like banks are replacing the old cards that they have and it is taking time to reissue a new one for customers.

I think it's because the major players in the market were seriously affected by the global recession. Perhaps the bull period was just a charade.
