I downloaded a media file by torrent. I know it was a rar file and since i normally know how to unzip it, i was not bothered it was in rar. But surprisingly it has a password. How do i get through the password? Follow Ups: Re: How do I remove rar password Posted by Felucci

 I think you will need the person who created the rar file in the first place to provide the password. if you got the rar file from a download site, it is most likely included in the documentation Posted by

I think you can only open that file if the author or owner of the file gives you the password. Try to contact the owner to give you the password Posted by
