Soludo did a good job strenghtening Nigerian banks. If these banks were not consolidated, we would have had more serious banks failing before now. If there were any banks falling behind in their loans then it is because of the Nigerian factor whereby the elite with their political connections seek to defraud banks by bribing their way and defaulting in their loan facilities. What is happening now is not because of the consolidation or what Soludo did (which in fact mitigated it) , but it was because of an inherent Nigerian factor. These banks would have failed anyway and much sooner than now if they weren't consolidated by Soludo.

    I agree with you but I don't like how Sanusi is currently witch-hunting these strong banks. It is making our economy look weak
