The CSCS website, clearing house of the Nigerian stock exchange is a site that contains information about stock movements, prices and other data relating to stock/share transactions in the Nigerian stock market. Now users/investors can check their stock position on the website

You can only know your stcok positon from your stockbrokers or through the cscs office by submitting an application at their office or by checking oline at the cscs website if you have subscribed

i don't think it's possible for another person to check details. you may need to write the application yourself and then maybe another person can submit it for you after which he would send the report to you. it's easier if you signed up for cscs online access through the cscs and then you will be able to check them yourself online the internet

There are two ways in which you can monitor your shares in the STOCK MARKET. You can do this online or offline. for offline you can get a printed report from the cscs office by making an application once you know your account numbers. Just apply following their protocol and you'll recieve a feedback withing 24 hrs i think. For online monitoring of your shares, you can get this by subscribing first if you have not, and then logging into the cscs website at cscsnigerialtd.com with your recieved username and password and view your portfolio. Funny enough, i've not seen where i can logout of the cscs website after i've finished montoring my account.

You can check your cscs account online by logging in at cscsnigerialtd.com with your username and password just as in yahoo mail. But to be able to do this, you first need to subcribe at cscs office with your application form and a subcription fee of about N2500. That's the fee for now, i think

To get a cscs account, all you need to do is go to the website www.cscsnigerialtd.com and get the procedures for registration which includes the following:

PROCEDURE/MODE OF REGISTRATION
Step 1. The prospective subscriber logs on to www.cscsnigeria.com. Locates the user
information on the top right corner of the site and click on register. Fill and
submit the form online. Thereafter, the subscriber proceeds to make payment at
one of the designated bank accounts indicating the following on the bank payment
slip.
1 Full Name (Shareholders Name)
2 Clearing House Number/CSCS NO. (eg. C123567AB)
The bank accounts are as follows
1. Bank Name :Guaranty trust bank
Account no. :1501667/1/12
Account Type :Current a/c
2. Bank Name :UBA
Account no. :0002-0030008755
Account Type :Current a/c
Step 2. The payment is confirmed and the subscriber’s account is activated upon

Step 4. The subscriber will receive a mail from the Website Admin once the account is

A special account is an account for you to keep all your cscs details for yourself without allowing any stockbroker to know about your portfolio but an individual account is one you have that still allows stockbrokers to access your account. In the special one you can only remit a certain amount of share quantity to your stockbroker to sell for you if you want while keeping the remaining ones from the prying eyes of anyone else

I think an individual acccount in the cscs is one that you just open with your stock broker to which he also has access to but a special account is just for you. You are known directly by the cscs and can transfre shares bit by bit to your stockbroker to sell to you. Suppose say you have one million shares in GTB and don't want your stockbroker to know, you can decide to have that kind of account and when you want to sell, you can transfer maybe 100,000 units to your broker to sell for you without letting him know how much you have in all. i think special accounts costs 5000 naira per year as opposed to an individual account which is free for any investor. But if you want to be having online access to your cscs account on the internet, then you may need to pay the subscription of N2500 per year to the cscs account.

Have you filled the application form. you need to fill the cscs online access application form and submit same to them with your teller so that they would get back to you.

if you want to have access to your account through the internet, then you need to make a formal application at the cscs office for online access. If you just want to get a statement of your shares, then can do the same application at their office by making a written application for stock statement and payint the required fee: about N200. You will be issued a printed statement within 24 hrs or so
