A Payoneer Mastercard can do much more than you might expect from a credit card. It works in many countries, allows you to receive funds, doesn't spend beyond your cash input and is good for doing internet business.

A Payoneer Mastercard is just like every other Mastercard. It allows you to shop online and it is prepaid meaning that it is cash backed. I got to know about this card when I was expecting a payment from Infolinks - An advertising company. I am an Infolinks publisher as I allow their ads to display on my blog and aim to make money online from it. Now when it came to organizing a way to get paid, I was given the option of any of the following:
- Bank wire
- Payoneer Mastercard and
- Paypal

Since I would prefer having an almost immediate acces to my internet income and not within the Paypal network, I opted for a Payoneer Mastercard.

All you need to to do get a Payoneer Mastercard are:
- Sign up for a card with a Payoneer partner.
- Provide your valid identification (e.g. National Id, Passport, Driving license)
- Wait for approval and delivery of the card
- Activate your card

Now the main issue in getting a Payooneer partner through which you can get a card. For me it is infolinks but there are a whole lot of Payoneer partners where you can choose from depending on how you intend making money from the internet or which you can be more comfortable with:

Payoneer partners include:

* Freelancing
o GetAFreelancer
o uTest
o oDesk
o ScriptLance
* Payment processing
o 2CheckOut
o Plimus
o FastSpring
* Advertising
o MediaWhiz
o Bux.to
o Copeac
o Text-Links-Ads
o Infolinks
* Adult
o AWEmpire
o Adult Friend Finder
o Hustler Cash
* Others
o FreedomRocks
o GPA40
o iStockPhoto
o Fluc

Why get a Payoneer Mastercard?
Because it is a much affordable way of geting international payments. There are no banking fees, no hidden charges, only small transaction and set up charges.

Well here are the fees for using Payoneer cards taken from one of the partner websites:

Payoneer Mastercard Pricing and Fees:

- Card activation – U.S. = $5.00
- Card activation – outside U.S. = $6.95
- Card activation outside US listed countries = $24.95 per card
- Loading Payments(2 - 3 days) = Free
- Monthly card account maintenance = $3.00 for 0-4 trx/month. To be taken from available card balance each month
- Monthly card account maintenance = $1.00 for 5+ trx/month. To be taken from available card balance each month
- Card replacement = $12.95 Per card One Time when issuing a replacement card

Cash Withdrawals or Transactions
- ATM Cash withdrawal(Outside US) $2.15 Per Trx When withdrawal is requested (Plus about 3% above market value of currency)
- ATM withdrawal Decline = $0.90 Per Trx When withdrawal request is declined
- ATM Balance inquiry = $0.90 Per inquiry When inquiry is made

For more details and to check the actual fees for your card, log into your payoneer account (
https://myaccount.payoneer.com) and click on General Info > Pricing and Fees

The only thing I am not so ok with is the monthly card costs of about $4 and the withdrawal fees of about $2.15 per withdrawal. I think the fees varies from partner to partner but it should be within the same range.

So this means that in order to get an activated Payoneer Mastercard, the highest you can pay in the first month is $24.95 + $4 + $2.15 = $31.10 assuming you are making money with infolinks and receiving monthly payments as well as make withdrawals from ATM in your country. For the remaining months of the year, you can cover your fees if you make at least $6.15 a month or $73.8 per year.
