There is something I want together from Amazon.com and I live in Nigeria. I want too ow if anyone living in Nigeria has any good experience at buying things from them. What will it take me to buy stuff from them as I have the money to pay for it?

If you have a MasterCard or Visa card, you can try buying it from amazon directly as they do deliver some items directly to Nigeria using USPS.

Yes you can. I have bought many things from them. You can pay with either Naira or Dollar card issued by banks in Nigeria

Is there any custom duty paid for things you buy from Amazon?

Yes most likely. It just depends on what the official fees are. It doesnt happen all the time. I have received certain items without being charged any duty and there are some I've paid a huge amount as import duty. Things like clothes attract more duty than computer accessories.
