It is not common in Nigeria for a wife to beat her husband but what is more common is men beating their wives and it is even accepted in some communities since they consider the woman to be under the control of her husband. When you hear news reports of a woman and wife beating her husband, it appears odd and frowned at and the man may even be considered a weakling for not being able to command respect from her wife. What does a husband do if he marries a woman that eventually ends up beating him?
