Facebook is a really well developed site that started a s a social site that connected college mates and their pals alike, now it has grown worldwide and is worth billions of dollars right now. I did a query on google insights and find out that it was one of the top ten sites visited by Nigeria after counting other sites like Yahoo and others. There are many Nigerians now using facebook for social networking and that it what it is suppoSed to be for. It has by far overcome Yahoo in terms of users searching for friend or looking for new ones. Facebook located at facebook.com allows new users to sign up at the home page as long as you have an existing email address and I'm sure there will be a lot of Yahoo users there signing up at facebook. Nigerian have become more used to using facebook to chat and meeting friends in private without the usual Yahoo messenger that does not really hide your privacy and recieves a lot of spam messages. Facebook is more private and closely connects you with your friends by school, interests and see their pictures and updates on what they are doing. Facebook allows friends to relate their experiences to each other by means of pictures and text whihc keep on asking you what are you doing. When one logs in, there is a subtle textfield that urges you to fill in what you are currently doing as in "Obi is ____--".
Facebook is unique and very much appreciated by users who come in their millions across the world

There are a lot of Spammers too on facebook. Yahoo boys on reach there too, pretending to be your close friends stranded somewhere begging for money and i don't know when there will stop.
