It is not everyone that uses their mtn phone connected to the computer for browse as it will run off your credit faster due to the higher rate of downloads. But if you really want to connect it, it would be better to subscribe to MTN's day browsing at N500 or night monthly browsing at N2500 per month.

To connect your phone to computer, just use a bluetooth device and install it to your computer. Then pair your computer to the phone.
Next is to use your phone's pc software and connect to the internet. When prompted, you will be asked to enter the connection settings. You should use the same connection settings for your phone on your computer i.e.

Account Name = MTN GPRS
IP Address = 10.199.212.2
Port = 9201 (for WAP) or 8080 (for HTML)
Username = web
Password = web
Access Point Name (APN) = web.gprs.mtnnigeria.net
After that, you will be able to browse with your comoputer connected to your phone.
