If you are in Nigeria and on the Airtel network, chances are that with a new Airtel sim card, you would need to set up GPRS or internet settings for your mobile phone or device in order to experience the web via Airtel Nigeria.
With an Airtel sim inserted into your phone, all you need to do is the following: (These are manual settings which you can do yourself)

Go to your internet settings
For Internet Settings (For use on Computer/Desktop)

APN (Access Point Name) : internet.ng.airtel.com
Username : internet
Password : internet

Go to settings within your phone:
For WAP Settings (For use on your mobile phone)

APN (Access Point Name) : wap.ng.airtel.com
Username : wap
Password : wap
Homepage: http://airtellive.com/
