I have some video files which are in a TS folder but I tried burning it with the default windows dvd burner but no file was shown when I wanted to pick a file. How do I burn it so that it would work as a DVD? I tried copying and burning the files directly to the cd but it does not play on Dvd player as it said no audio files found. Just wasted that DVD and don't want to waste another one.

One good software you can use is Imgburn. Just Google for it and download it. With it you will be able to first create and Iso image using build. You can then burn the ts files to the DVD using write.
The windows dvd maker would only work if it is a single video file but with ts video files that probably include the .vob and .info files, you will need an iso image creator like Imgburn.com to burn a new DVD
