I was thinking if solar energy would be helpful in powering a freezer. The freezers is not just an ordinary one as it is to be used for producing ice-blocks and power supply is not constant.

Of course, Solar energey can be used for practically all home applicances such as your freezer. I would recommend that you get a solar cell connected to a battery and inverter and then to your fridge. You will only need the inverter if the freezer only uses AC. But if it uses DC, then you can connect directly to the battery. Solar energy is the way of the future

Yes you can use solar power for your freezer but all depend on the capacity of your solar power.a 5kva-7kva inverter power solar system can do that. that mean you need to use 2 large powerful battery.

when fully charge it can last 10 hours
